Sedona...an Experience!

We finally made it back home late last night. It was a glorious trip! It always is when we go up to Sedona. I just love it up there. We go every Memorial Weekend, it's a family thing. My husband's sister and her family live in Sedona. The boys golf and us ladies shop! Personally I think we get the better end of the deal! LOL!

It's always very busy up there this time of the year and will be until around September. Then it seems to calm down again. But the majestic beauty of the red rocks along with all the greenery is just fabulous! The picture I've chosen to add to this blog is the infamous Cathedral Rock. It truly is beautiful!

If you want to take a tour, there's always the Pink Jeep tours available. Then there are numerous hiking trails all over the place. If you want to fish, that's there too. There is plenty of fishing be done along the Oak Creek River. If you have time, you can go just a little bit up 89A and you'll come across Sliding Rock. It really is a lot of fun. Go a little farther up that route and there are all sorts of camping and lodges along the Oak Creek on your way up the canyon to Flagstaff. It really is a beautiful drive. Then if all that fails or bores you, then you have all the shopping and eating places you can handle. The most famous is Tlaquepaque. It has a bit of everything there for you. It really is a shopping experience!

I hope you all get a chance to go to Sedona, you won't be disappointed. I promise!

God Bless,
Donna

When I lived in Scottsdale, Sedona was a regular "getaway place' for me. I loved it there. It's amazingly beautiful. sigh

Donna, that was the view from my sister's patio. Sedona is God's Country for sure. We went up 89A and stopped at one of the pull offs and I bought a few pieces of sterling jewelry from a group of Native Americans that had some stands set up there.

If I could choose anywhere to live it would be Sedona!
