We have very close friends who have a passion for these lost or homeless animals in our community. Our friends, Cindy and Matt Vandiver, volunteer to take photographs of the adoptable dogs and cats to be used on the shelter's website, hoping that all will find a home. All of their prints start out as photographs of the shelter's dogs and cats which they transform them through the use of their digital paintbrush into colorful pop art prints. Read their stories. These animals have survived, they are so full of love, just needing a family to give it to. Here are a few of their prints from their etsy shop, Paw Prints Project, tails from the pound. They also give 10% of each sale back to the shelter.
This is a lucky little guy, he was adopted.
I hope you enjoy looking at Cindy's photos as much as I do. These animals need so much love and they come with a guarantee to give you much love in return.
Have a great day!
Donna

I'm gettin' all weepy here. Great pictures. Wishing you luck. I seem to be running my own little homeless shelter for animals here in Los Angeles.
OMG! These little faces are so adorable! I sooooo wish I could take one home! It would be so hard to pick just one. That first photo is just haunting. You can see the pain in his eyes, just wanting to be loved. Great article! Thanks so much for sharing! Indeed shelters need our help! These animals need our help!

Thank you Eleanor and Cindy. It was hard to write. I want them all! It would be tough to go and take the pictures of them and then have to leave. I couldn't do it. I'm thankful people like Cindy and Matt can do this service in the hopes that the animals will be taken home.
These kind of stories always make me cry. I would love to take them all home!
Thanks Vicki, I would too. I'm so thankful that people like our friends are able to do this for the sack of the animals. Me, I'd just sit there and cry and want them all! :-)
